Groundworks in South Wales
In Wales, new developments need their surface water drainage approved by the SuDS Approval Body before construction starts, so the drainage design is fixed early and the groundworks are built to it. Most of what we are asked to price is store extensions, new food stores, car parks and service yards, with every part of the package below carried by our own team.

Working in South Wales
What have you built in South Wales?
The full groundworks package for the extension to ALDI Llantrisant: car park, kerbs, tactile paving, bollard bases and the external works around the new frontage. We are now on site at Brackla, Bridgend on a brand new ALDI food store with a 14,000+ sq ft trading area and more than 100 parking spaces with EV charging.
How far is South Wales from your base?
Llantrisant is approximately 70 miles from our Gloucester head office and Brackla, Bridgend approximately 80. Our own plant travels to site on the low loader, so distance does not change how the package is resourced.
Do you build to the Welsh SuDS approval rules?
Yes. In Wales, new developments need their surface water drainage approved by the SuDS Approval Body before construction starts. We install the drainage to the approved design.
Do you provide site services in Wales as well as groundworks?
Yes. We run site services for ALDI at Newport, Port Talbot and Bridgend, and at Cardigan in West Wales. On site services projects we supply plant, skips, security, temporary fencing, fire equipment, signage and consumables.
