Ducting & Utility InfrastructurePower, data, water and EV
All types of utility infrastructure for retail and commercial sites, including EV. We install the duct runs and service trenches that carry power, data, water and EV charging across the site, coordinated with the drainage and in the ground before the kerbs and surfacing go down.
Every service route, in before the surface
Power and data ducts
Duct runs for incoming power, lighting and data, laid to the services drawings and left clear for the cable pull.
Water and utility trenches
Trenches excavated, bedded and backfilled for incoming water and other utilities, with warning tape laid over the service as specified.
EV charging infrastructure
Ducts and bases for EV charging bays, installed with the car park so the chargers can be fitted without breaking out new surfacing.
Bases for bollards and signs
Bases for bollards, signs and car park furniture set out and cast as the ducts go in.
Coordinated with drainage
Duct crossings are sequenced with the drainage runs and the kerb lines, so each trench is opened once.
Ready for connection
Runs are left marked and ready for the utility providers and the following trades to connect.

Asked at tender
What utilities do you install ducting for?
All types of utility infrastructure, including power, data, water and EV charging. The routes are installed to your services drawings as part of the groundworks.
Do you install the infrastructure for EV charging?
Yes. We install the ducting and bases for EV charging as part of the car park works. The new ALDI food store at Brackla, Bridgend has a car park of more than 100 spaces with EV charging points.
Is ducting priced with the groundworks package?
Yes. Ducting is priced from the services drawings in the tender pack, alongside the drainage, kerbs and concrete, so the whole of the below ground work sits with one firm.
How do you avoid digging up finished surfaces?
Ducting is sequenced with the drainage and kerb lines and goes in before the sub-base and surfacing. Each trench is opened once, and the service routes are complete before the surface goes down.
What do you need to price the ducting?
The services drawings, the specification and the programme. Send them through the tender enquiry form or by email and we will come back with a price.
South West, South Wales and nationwide
Most of our work sits within reach of Gloucester, across the South West and South Wales. For the right package we travel, and our live contracts now run from Cornwall to Scotland.
Got a ducting package out to tender?
Send us the drawings and the programme. We will price it and tell you straight.
